BELL'Amore Handbells
Established in the heart of rural Queensland, the Amity Quartet blends family harmony and a passion for bringing music to communities south of Toowoomba. After a well-received 2021 Christmas Together performance, they expanded, adding five more talented voices, creating a nine-member ensemble that now produces intricate harmonies and richer musical experiences.
Cassie Midgley is classically trained soprano with extensive performance experience in a wide variety of contrasting styles from the opera classics to contemporary musical theatre and film. Cassie is committed to delivering each musical performance with warmth, style and authenticity. Founded during the midst of the COVID pandamic. Toowoombells is a community group of musicians in Toowoomba who have discovered the art of handbell ringing amidst the global pandemic as a way to create and enjoy music while maintainig social distancing. Pinkies in Ice is a lively saxophone ensemble formed by five friends with a passion for music and saxophones. Bringing you hits and popular tunes from the 1950s to today, their performances span decades of classics, from rock 'n' roll to modern favorites. Though three members have been playing together for over 20 years, the group officially came together in 2020, known for their signature style—black outfits with bright pink shoes!
Akash has been performing guitar, piano and vocals for over decade as both a soloist and as a member of a band. He is a vocalist with the Jindalee Jazz Orchestra and Cool Nights Big Band, and a member of the Undercurrents, a rock band who has opened for the Leo Sayer, Ian Moss, Choirboys and Dragon. Akash continues to teach students both music and theory
